"We stopped by DK BBQ in Forks and tried the brisket plate, which came with beans and coleslaw. The pork ribs were impressively large, and the service was very quick--they already had everything prepared. The setup is essentially a food truck with some covered seating outside. That said, the place felt a bit overpriced, and the menu prices weren't visible--they're covered with black ink on the front chart, which was strange. Overall, it gives more of a touristy vibe than a local favorite."

"(Gluten free everything!! [except the buns]) Best homemade bbq ever. Smokey sweet bbq sauce. Perfectly cooked. Both the ribs and pull pork sandwich. Ribs had the right amount of seasoning. Fall of the bone! Smoked for 8hrs. Pull pork was soo tender and juicy. Beans were sweet and delicious. Slaw was crunchy and full of flavor. (Also Dairy free) Big portions. Great prices! The 2 gentleman working there were super friendly and kind. My wife mentioned how she just can't find gluten free bbq back home and they gave her a bottle of their sauce. Made her day. She literally cried in the parking lot. Must try while in forks! We will be back "

"A classic bbq joint, with delicious sides like coleslaw, Mac and cheese, and a variety of main dishes! We were so hungry and this place hit the spot, but it is filling so keep that in mind, you might get the 'itis afterward!"

"We only got meat to go. We had sausage, ribs, and brisket. The sausage was our favorite because of pepperiness. The brisket was good and it is a lean cut (or at least what we got) but it is cut in rather thick chunks so it feels less tender but it was still good. The ribs were also good but not as tender as we make at home but were flavored nicely. I would eat here again. :) oh but the bbq sauce is super sweet. So if you like tangy sauce you will want to bring your own. Otherwise the meat is good especially for Washington."

"This place should have a lot higher rating. I was little suspicious of BBQ in the PNW but both the brisket and ribs were phenomenal. We paid about $40 for two plates, which were massive, we couldn't finish all of it. Highly recommend the coleslaw and potato salad for sides "

Most Disliked things

Some diners mention that the menu prices can be hard to see. They note that black ink obscures the prices on the chart. A few visitors feel the pricing is a bit high for the offerings, especially if comparing to other BBQ spots. This gives a slightly touristy feel to the place, impacting some locals' view.

Another point of contention is the sweetness of the BBQ sauce. Some diners prefer tangy or less sweet options. While not universal, this preference may affect those who enjoy a more traditional BBQ flavor profile. Nonetheless, many return despite these minor issues.
